The Transparency Project (TP) highlights the lack of documented evidence of the extent of animal abuse in SA, with a focus on the industrial animal complex.
It is imperative to advocate for accountability by developing a strong network of trained, competent researchers who can help achieve this goal. The TP will work on research and exposés to create public awareness of the suffering inherent in animal exploitation; and expose the link between the commodification of animals, humans, and the environment, and the structures and institutions that lock us into this systemic oppression. This is done through strategic campaigns in collaboration with other animal protection organisations and based on the research findings from selected activists who passed The Transparency Project’s tailor-made training program.
